We were in town for the horse show, this place is super close to Commonwealth park, only about a 14 min drive. Much better option than the hotels in the area. Walkable to everything in downtown. Place was much bigger than the photos made it look. Incredibly clean for being pet friendly. Beds were comfortable and clean. Nice high end soap and linens in the rooms and bathrooms. House stayed plenty cold through the heat wave. Host was amazing, felt like a very nice hotel. Not much I can think of that I could change. I think the only thing that could make it better if the yard was fully fenced to allow the dogs to go out without a leash. This will definitely be our place to stay when visiting Culpeper again.

We had a great weekend stay while in town for a family wedding. The location is perfect being within walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants downtown, but also an easy drive to Walmart, Target, etc. The house was clean, cozy, and worked well for four adults and two small dogs. We had been a bit concerned about potential train noise based on other reviews, but it was minimal and the train doesn’t use its horn as it passes The house is also a duplex, but we never heard any noise from the tenants in the other unit. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay!

Cute antique house that is walkable to restaurants and breweries. Right by the National Military cemetery. Well decorated and lots of space. Older house so AC struggles a bit. Room units help in the heat of the summer. Overall a nice house

Perfect location while attending horse show at Commonwealth Park. Just a short drive to the park with quite a few restaurants located within a few blocks of the home. The house was impeccably clean and very well organized. AC worked great during a very hot stay. Elizabeth was a pleasure to deal with while booking as well as during our stay. Would definitely stay again if we return to the horse show.

Modernized 19th century home in the heart of Culpepper- was there with my small family and it has a great set up. Restaurants are near by but so is a grocery store if you want to cook at home. Hoping to have the opportunity to stay again.

Elizabeth’s place was wonderful! Only a block away from downtown, so very walkable and a lot to do! It is near train tracks which we loved because our toddler got to watch the train. Not too loud but ear plugs provided if you’re a lighter sleeper. Also free of clutter which I appreciated as the parent of a curious toddler. But the best part was Elizabeth herself! We could tell she really cared about hospitality and making her guests feel at home. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this beautiful, historic home in Culpeper for a wedding. The house was spotless, well maintained, and perfect for our family with two little kids. They especially loved being right next to the train station—watching the trains go by was a highlight! The location is incredibly walkable, with plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, a great kids’ playground, and charming stores nearby. We also appreciated the convenience of three reserved parking spots and easy access to strip malls and grocery stores just a short drive away. The house had plenty of towels, toilet paper, and a well-stocked kitchen for basic cooking. Having a washer and dryer on-site was a huge plus with young kids. Highly recommend for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in a charming town!
